Advanced Photography Final Exam

1) The famous war photographer that stormed Normandy with the soldiers during WWII was Robert Capa. He took 106 pictures, but unfortunately only 11 survived.
2) Robert Capa created the Magnum agency after war with Henri Cartier-Bresson, William Vandivert, David Seymour, and George Rodger. 
3) Henri Cartier-Bresson says that the head, heart, and eye should be aligned in order for a photography to be successful.

Inspire by master was my favorite blog post of all.

• I liked it the most because i really like Paul Strands work and i wanted to do something identical.
• Also i really enjoy taking these pictures with my group since we all liked Paul Strands work. 
• I really liked the pictures i took and i really learned a lot out of this project we had to do.

•  This was my favorite photo because i liked the way it looked and specially when i added the black and white effect.
• Also i liked the reflection of the sun hitting his shades.
• Also the serious face he had and simply the pose.

      4. 

• I really liked these pictures because i used the rule of thirds and in some i wanted to avoid the middle. I also wanted to include texture because i wanted the picture to have some interest in it. 
• Also i really focused on the background being good because i wanted to simply the scene and filling the frame.
• Also in most of them i wanted to experiment some things and took many shots and ended keeping the ones i wanted. I also wanted to have simplicity in some of my photos since i didn't want the background taking the attention from the main point.

   5.   Advantages

• We can help each other in making decisions.
• Help correct our mistakes and fix them. 
• Ask for help and ideas.

      Disadvantages 

• We sometimes didn't agree in somethings.
• Others wanted to take pictures differently.
• Some don't really like to talk.

   7.  Henri Cartier- Bresson made sure that his photos were good by aligning the head, taking a picture when the shutter would open, and observing and seeing how things were going like a painter before taking the picture.

  9. A project that would interest me would be going on a field trip to a nice place and take pictures with our groups. Please think about it !

 10. Well first of all, i believe you don't like the word "hecka". Secondly, im not sure what you're asking, but im guessing you do it to keep us happy. 

 

Visual Friday- 2013 Covers

The one i liked the most was the 04 complex because the way she's posing is very unique. I really like her skin color and her eyelashes look great. This is the one that fit my personality the best.

First semester final

In this photo, Bryan was serious and i sort of in a way made him smile. But he is a serious person, which makes me like this photo.

Crstina in the other hand, was actually smiling. She loves taking pictures and you can see it as well. 

Andrea is trying to smile and be serious at the same time. She's a shy person, but i really liked this photo because her hair it's really beatiful and i wanted to show that. 

In this picture i told her she had a hair in her face and she tried to remove it, but when she did i took a picture.

Johanes is a very serious person and that's something i kinda like. So this photo shows his personality.

Cristina, as always is smiling and i took this picture when she was getting ready to smile, but i took it before her bottom and upper teeth touched.  

In this photo, cristina was lauging at one of my jokes and this is one of the photos i really liked. She was really lauging and i caught that moment.

Andrea wanted to be serious, but i also said one of my jokes to make her smile and it worked, but she covered her mouth with her hand, which i then ended up liking it.
